The collar around the 14th green was recently sprayed with a chemical that will hopefully kill the encroaching Bermudagrass and leave the other grasses alone. The collar on the right side of 14 green, as well as two areas around the 8th green were treated as a test to see how well the chemical worked. So far so good. The Bermudagrass can be seen turning brown in the picture below. The other grasses (mainly annual bluegrass) turned yellow but should come back.
